2024 Ladies Community Ski- 2/12/24
Please join our email list to receive updates regarding the Ladies Community Ski!
SAVE THE DATE:
Date: Monday, Feb 12th, for a Women’s Community cross country ski
(possible lunch or snack meet up at the end)
Time: TBD but mid-day is most likely
What: Bring your friends, see old friends and make new friends. You do not need to be signed up for PVAW’s program to join in the fun.
Classic and skate skiers welcome, some experience needed, no first time skiers, this is a ski outing, not a lesson.
We will group up in the parking lot and with different groups of varying ability and ski type, and head out to ski together.
Mileage will vary based on abilities - 3 to 7 miles ski
Where:
Place to be determined as we get closer based on the conditions, but it likely will be either the North or the South State Park. Possibly Plain Valley Ski Trails if conditions warrant
Parking: A Sno park parking pass will be needed if we ski at the park, you can car pool with a friend who has one, or buy a daily pass , $25, at the parking lot. No personal trail pass needed there. If we ski the Plain Valley SKi Trail system, a PVST day or season pass will be needed - day passes are available to be purchased on the trail with a smart phone
Details to follow as we get closer and determine the weather and best conditions for a delightful and fun, no-pressure, outing on our incredible local ski trails.
Your organizers for this event are Cynthia Neely and Cindy Shurtleff
Please let both of us know if you plan to come, what you feel your skiing level is and if you will be classic skiing or skate skiing - or if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing you!
