Want to get even more involved with your local trails? Become a Trail Ambassador!
Our Trail Ambassador Program is a great way to get more involved with Plain Valley Ski Trails, engage with your community, and receive a Season Pass.
Applicants must enjoy working with people and be comfortable offering education and enforcement-- checking ski passes and welcoming first-time visitors is a big part of the job.
Requirements:
Be 18 or older
Be an active user of Plain Valley Ski Trails
12 hour commitment (6, two hours shifts from December to March)
Capable of interacting with trail users in an informative and positive manner.
Trail Ambassadors will check passes, answer questions about the ski trails, provide trail information and conditions, and interact with trail users both at the trailhead and out on the trails.
Understand Plain Valley Ski Trails and how it supports Plain Valley Nordic Team.
Schedule: 2 hour shifts at Plain and Beaver Creek Trailheads.
Saturdays: 9-11am, 11-1pm, 1-3pm
Sundays: 9-11am, 11-1pm, 1-3pm
Holiday Mondays: 9-11am and 11-1pm
Holiday Weeks (Christmas Break (Last two weeks in December), Mid-Winter Break (February)
Scheduling will be done via Square Appointments App.
There will be two Trail Ambassadors per trailhead, Meadow Loop and Beaver Creek. One Ambassador will be stationed at the trail head to answer questions and educate about our mission and one will be on the high use trails to interact with skiers! On trail ambassadors will also be on the lookout for signs that fallen over, etc!
