2025–26 TRAIL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Want to be more involved with your local trails? Join the Trail Ambassador Program! It's a great way to connect with the community, support Plain Valley Ski Trails, and earn a free Season Pass.
Trail Ambassadors are the welcoming face of PVST. You’ll help guests feel at home, share trail information, and promote our mission of supporting barrier-free youth ski education.
Requirements:
- Age 18 or older
- Active user of Plain Valley Ski Trails
- 14-hour commitment (seven 2-hour shifts between December–March)
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with the public
Duties:
- Greet and assist trail users at the trailhead and on the trails
- Check passes and provide trail info, maps, and current conditions
- Share how PVST supports youth ski programs through Plain Valley Nordic Team
- Report basic trail issues (e.g., downed signs or flagged hazards)
Shifts & Locations:
- Trail Ambassadors serve 2-hour shifts at the following trailheads: Meadow Loop, Clear Creek, and Beaver Creek.
- Saturdays: 10 AM–12 PM & 12–2 PM
- Sundays: 10 AM–12 PM & 12–2 PM
- Holiday Mondays: 10 AM–12 PM & 12–2 PM
- Holiday Weeks: Christmas Break (late December) and Mid-Winter Break (February)
Each trailhead will host two Ambassadors per shift:
- One stationed at the trailhead to answer questions and share our mission
- One roving on high-use trails to engage with skiers and monitor trail conditions
